How We Work
When we undertake a gearbox repair, we carry out a routine check of your transmission fluid as a standard to ensure it isn’t contaminated with destructive metallic particles and is spinning as it should be.
If the dual clutch on your gearbox is playing up, there may be a problem with your mechatronic unit, which facilitates the gear changes in your automatic gearbox by working alongside your engine to determine when you need to change.
The programming we undertake during a mechatronic repair is conducted via an online VAG server, ensuring that the original coding remains intact. Your keys will not be affected in the process and should work just the way they always have.
We have extensive experience with gearboxes and their problems, which means we are able to repair all types of automatic gearboxes, including automatic transmissions and semi-automatic, powershift, mechatronic, DSG and SMG 1,2,3 gearboxes.
Mercedes Reconditioning
Our gearbox reconditioning services consist of dismantling and checking the parts of your gearbox to identify components that may be damaged or worn. These will then be repaired or replaced, administering you with a more cost-effective solution than replacing your Mercedes gearbox in full.
